Ingredients
- 3 (5 oz) cans tuna in olive oil
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup mayo
- ½ tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 8 oz sliced swiss cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 (8 oz) French bread loaves
Directions
- Line two cookie sheets with aluminum foil.
- Set top rack in the second position of the oven and start the broiler on high.
- Slice French bread in half lengthwise. Place tops on one cookie sheet and bottoms on the other with cut side facing up.
- Brush the cut side of the top loaves with olive oil.
- In a medium sized bowl break up drained tuna.
- Stir in sour cream, mayo and seasonings.
- Portion mixture between the two bottom loaves.
- Cover bottom loaves with swiss cheese slices.
- Broil top loaves for 2 minutes. (keep watching)
- Broil bottom loaves for 4 minutes (still keep watching)
- Place the tops back on the bottom loaves and slice into servings.
